Established in 1975, The Ship's Store and Rigging is one of the largest independently owned marine chandleries in the state. We offer a full selection of marine products, an extensive consignment shop, and an expert rigging staff. The Ship's Store and Rigging has been awarded the status of a Preferred Yacht Paint Center by AKZO Nobel, the makers of INTERLUX YACHT PAINT AND FINISHES. We welcome special orders and have a tremendous reputation for knowing where to find the most difficult parts for just about any boat made. Our commitment is to stock what you need for your boat when you need it, at a price that is competitive with large "chain stores," all in a friendly and traditional atmosphere. Our location on Bowen's Wharf provides free dinghy access to the downtown area. A company vessel provides in-harbor rigging services and the delivery of substantial orders. We receive daily deliveries from our warehouse allowing us to offer an extensive range of products. We have outfitted almost every major racing yacht on the East Coast.
