Arriving at Newport's premiere shopping and dining destination is remarkably easy. Our centrally located parking lot is the most convenient place for your vehicle. We also offer free dinghy tie-up for those arriving by boat, and we are a stone's throw away from the Newport Gateway Center with shuttle and bus service to all major New England cities and airports. Cruise ship passengers land nearby and there is plenty of parking within minutes of our shops and restaurants.

Bowen's Wharf 42nd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting
December 1st, 2012
4:30 pm – Frosty the Snowman
5:00 pm – Christmas Carol Sing-A-Long (live music)
6:00 pm – Tree Lighting & Santa arrives
We invite you to bring the whole family to see Frosty the Snowman, Santa, and Mrs. Claus for an evening of Christmas cheer! Make a day of it and check off that holiday gift list at our retail shops!

Festivities begin at 4:30 with Frosty the Snowman! The Christmas Carol Sing-a-long begins at 5 pm, and then we light the tree at 6 pm with the help of a City Official. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive by boat (weather permitting) at 6 pm also, immediately following the lighting of the tree. Lots of charm, fun and good cheer for the entire family! Restaurants open before and after the event. Retail shops open until 9 pm. FREE ADMISSION! RAIN OR SHINE!

Join us for our 22nd annual waterfront celebration! Honoring the "Harvest of the Sea," local restaurants and fisherman's associations serve up their most celebrated seafood, continuous live music, face painting and fun for kids of all ages all beneath the Wharf's colorful tents.
